JOIN THE LA JOLLA COMMUNITY PLANNING ASSOCIATION & INFLUENCE DEVELOPMENT DECISIONS

The La Jolla Community Planning Association (LJCPA) is the recognized planning group for all of La Jolla and provides advisory input on almost all development projects in La Jolla. To help ensure that this group properly represents the community's values and not just those of developers, join the LJCPA! It will strengthen the voice of residents, which is the only way to ensure a continued high quality of life in La Jolla.

LJCPA meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the La Jolla Recreation Center Auditorium at 615 Prospect Street, La Jolla.

To join the LJCPA, you must attend one regular meeting in a calendar year and fill out a membership form (available at each meeting).

To check whether the CPA is properly recording your attendance, you may go to their Website at www.lajollacpa.org and click on "members." There you will find an attendance list for the current year (they run from March through the following February). Please make sure that your name is included for each month you attended. If not, call or write the LJCPA Secretary (currently Darcy Ashley) to request that your attendance be registered. Contact info is on the LJCPA website.

As a member, you will be allowed to vote in the yearly election of Trustees (six new trustees are elected each March) and any bylaws changes.
